ANIME ARTIST
Jide
Heroes in motion.
Jide draws action. Raised on anime fight scenes and the big screen scale of Marvel and DC films, he builds original heroes of his own, caught mid leap, mid punch and mid transformation.
His blackbook is full of characters who never stand still. For the Blackbook Series he has pulled three of them off the page and onto pieces made to be worn loud.
"Every panel should feel like the frame before the hit."
Influences: Anime action, comic book cinema, speed lines and impact frames
